Wondrous Item, uncommon
A thin glass dart filled with grayish pus and something that looks like tiny teeth suspended in fluid. The needle twitches softly in your hand.
Consumable (one use, thrown or used in melee):
On hit, the needle shatters under the skin:
- Target makes a DC 15 Con save
- Fail: 3d6 necrotic damage and ghostly rat-bite welts erupt across their arm or neck
- Success: Half damage, no welts
The welts vanish in one minute, but the victim hears little chittering sounds inside their bones until then.
If kept too long, the dart warms up as if incubating something.
