Wondrous Item, rare (requires attunement by a Anyone well versed in magic. Does not need to be a spell caster.)
An ordinary-looking tuning fork made of steel. upon inspection, you see the name Silvergear inscribed on the base of the point where the fork splits. A short rest spent inspecting the fork will reveal that it is tuned to magical energy and will start humming when in the presence of an object or creature that emits magical energy. If the base of the fork is touching an object that emits magical energy, it will only start humming when it comes close to another source of a similar kind of energy (e.g magic school, planar energy, celestial or fiendish power). If held by an unattuned creature, the fork will act as a regular tuning fork tuned to a B natural.
Notes: Anyone well versed in magic. Does not need to be a spell caster.
