Weapon (glaive, greatsword, longsword, rapier, scimitar, or shortsword), artifact (requires attunement)

A silvered Longsword with a shifting Damascus-like pattern, born from the corpse of the Zelosus himself.

While Dormant, you gain a +1 to attack and damage rolls with this weapon and, when you hit a creature with an attack using this magic weapon, the target takes an extra 2d6 Cold damage and must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or be unable to regain Hit Points for 1 hour. The target repeats the save at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
When Awakened, the bonus for attack and damage rolls increases to +2 and, if your attack roll exceeds the target creature's AC by 5 or more, the target must succeed on a DC 15 Charisma Saving Throw or suffer the effects of the Banishment Spell.
Once Exalted, the bonus for attack and damage rolls increases to +3 and the DC to resist the sword's magical effects increases to DC 18. Additionally, you may target yourself or an ally with any of the sword's magical effects as a Magic action without dealing damage.
After Exalting, targets affected by the sword remain marked for 10 minutes. At any time, you may use half your movement to teleport adjacent to a marked creature within 120ft.

This item can be used as a spell focus.

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.

Notes: Damage: Cold, Versatile, Sap
