As a Magic action, you can yell into the back of this staff so that it amplifies the range in which sound based abilities, in an unoccupied space within 30 of you it will multiply the range of it by 3%, causing the staff to become a Giant Constrictor Snake in that space. The snake is under your control and shares your Initiative count, it it now boosts sound based spells by 3.5% and and the damage they'll do by 1.5%.

On your turn, you can mentally command the snake (no action required) if it is within 60 feet of you and you don’t have the Incapacitated condition. You may make it copy the spell you've used in combat but damage/ effect duration be halfed.

As a Bonus Action, you can command the snake to revert to staff form.
