Wondrous Item, legendary (requires attunement by a Requires attunement by a non-good aligned creature)

Trapped within the crystalized fire in the brazier of the ancient light house in Fogmouth is the skull of one of the greatest liches of Eleria, Aekzan the deathless. His skull has intricate geometric designs of silver and gold running all across it with a single diamond shaped amethyst is the center of his skull. His eyes are two rubies that are suspended inside his skull by gold wire. Ominous whispers intimate from it while he is still Encased in crystalized shadowfell. If the brazier is empowered they it will emit a ghostly purple glow and begin attracting and pulling through specturers and wraiths.

Sentient. Aekzan the deathless is a sentient neutral evil skull with a intelligence of 20, a wisdom of 18, and a charisma of 16. It has hearing and true sight out to a range of 120 feet.

The skull can speak, read, and write: common, elvish, draconic, giantish, dwarvish, and sylvian. His voice is cold and sharp. Aekzan the deathless can communicate telepathically with the creature that is attuned to him, but prefers to speak aloud most times.

Personality. Aekzan the deathless speaks in a commanding and condescending way fitting of a creature far more powerful then a defenseless skull. He will often make threats of destruction and doom asking the creatures if they 'know who he is'. If threatened back or dismissed he will quickly do away with the posturing and try to offer aid or information for his continued survival or transport. As the original creator of the undeath that hangs over Helkhyve he usually tries to entice people with promises of great power and treasure if they help him, typically to do with the region of Helkhyve. He longs to regain his former power and will try to manipulate the creature who bares him to take action that align with him regaining his phylactery and power.

Pocket Spellcaster. Aekzan the deathless may not be a lich anymore but he still can be used as a arcane focus. He functions as a wand of the war mage +3 for any spellcaster attuned to him. He can also consume spell slots of an equivalent level or the creature can take a number of d4 equal to the level of the spell slot in unreducable force damage(this damage reduces their maximum HP by the amount taken until their next long rest) and cast the following spells:
