Amulet of Echoes

This amulet rings with the faint echoes of sounds not yet to be. 

While you wear this amulet, you cannot be surprised and gain a +2 to Initiative. This item does not function within an area of magical silence. 

Once per encounter, at the DM’s discretion, you may avoid an effect entirely if it makes a large noise.

You may also send a short message to yourself up to six seconds in the past, granting you advantage on any roll, and/or allowing you to revise or undo one action; i.e. “this drink is poisoned”, “don’t go through this door”, “assassin behind you!”. Though if you use this function, this item ceases to work until a “remove curse” effect is applied to it.
