Weapon (longsword), legendary (requires attunement by a Fighter (Eldritch Knight), Paladin, Cleric, Ranger, Rogue (Arcane Trickster))

Void-Render is just a longsword's hilt. It has purple crystals imbedded within; one in the pommel, one in the side of it near the grip, and one above the handguard. Attuning to it teaches you how to use it. To make this weapon usable, you grip the hilt, place your other hand where the blade would meet the hilt, shout the command phrase; "Void-Render! To me!" and slide your hand along where the blade would be. An intricately designed, purple-hued, curved, ever-so slightly transparent blade extends from the hilt. It feels cold to the touch, even when in an area of immense heat. It disperses when you place your hand on the tip of the blade and push it back into the hilt. Each swing leaves behind a purple flame in the air. The wounds it inflicts causes the flesh of the afflicted decays almost immediately, shrinking away from the blade.

Attack rolls and damage rolls with this magic weapon have a +2 bonus. Attacks with it deal an additional 2d8 necrotic damage.

As a bonus action, you can swing Void-Render at a space where no creatures are. This must be an area within 5ft. of you. This creates a barely-visible tear in space where you selected. You then select a location within 120ft. of the tear. When a creature enters this area, they must make a strength saving throw. If they fail, they immediately appear at the second selected location. A willing creature can forgo the saving throw and allow the teleportation to occur. This ability has 3 charges per short rest.

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.

Notes: Damage: Necrotic, Bonus: Magic, Fighter (Eldritch Knight), Paladin, Cleric, Ranger, Rogue (Arcane Trickster), Versatile, Sap
