Althea's Pen of Scribing

An obsidian colored, thin, rock textured cylinder 8 inches in length. A small rounded dome shape protrudes from one end.

You can use this pen to write up to 500 words or sketch lines in a space of a 5 foot square. Once the pen is used to capacity it becomes inert. Ink refills at sunrise every morning allowing you to use the pen again. You cannot write on non-intentional writing surfaces.
