Alethiometer

The alethiometer, nicknamed the symbol-reader, is a compass-like device that with dials on the side and 36 symbols worked into the face. The alethiometer is used to communicate with Dust and find truthful answers to one's questions. Only six alethiometers were ever made.

While holding this device, you can use an action to turn the dials and ask a question. Then make a DC 16 Arcana check. Creatures under the age of 13 have advantage on this check. On a successful check, you cast the commune, divination or legend lore (your choice). On a failure, nothing happens.
