Armor of Two (Unstable)

When putting the armor on, black tendrils form on the inside of the armor and burrow into your body. While wearing the armor, you resist the following damage types: necrotic, poison, and psychic. The armor can’t be removed from you for 24 hours after putting it on and the armor cannot be put onto another host or the original host for 24 hours after it has been removed. Immediately after putting the armor on and every 24 hours, you must either feed the armor 1/10th of your total max health or take 1 level of exhaustion. After each feeding, you either gain 1 black tendril that extends out from the back of the armor or you can increase the size of any 1 existing black tendril. Each black tendril acts as an additional bonus action during your turn. Successful attack rolls with the black tendril do 1d4 damage. Every increase made to a black tendril adds 5 feet of range and +2 to damage. After wearing the armor for 5 consecutive days, you gain a +2 to Armor Class. No further bonuses or feeding can be given after 5 days. Rest while wearing the armor does not remove exhaustion given to the wearer by the armor and only regains health to the highest possible cap based on the selection of feedings. When the armor is removed, all tendrils reset and all bonuses are removed. You do not instantly regain health or exhaustion. You cannot change your mind on the amount or size of black tendrils after selecting them. Only removing the armor and resetting will allow you to re-select. If the wearer ever falls below 0 HP while wearing the armor, the armor will remove itself, melt off from the wearer, turning to stone, never to be used again.

Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
