Amulet of Soulbound Ressurection

An amulet inscribed with a single resurrection spell, bound to the spellcaster who created it.

This amulet contains a single casting of the resurrection spell inscribed by the amulet's creator. When the attuned creature dies, the crystal automatically casts the resurrection spell on that creature. The spell is cast by the crystal, requires no action, components, or choice on the part of anyone, and its effects apply normally. The spell uses its normal casting time, range, and effect, but you do not provide material components. Once the spell is cast, the crystal becomes nonmagical, and the attuned creature's soul becomes permanently bound to the amulet's creator. While both are on the same plane:

• The amulet's creator always knows the creature's general direction and distance.
• The amulet's creator can cast scrying on the creature without material components; the creature automatically fails its saving throw against the spell when cast this way.
• The creature has disadvantage on saving throws against magical effects cast by the amulet's creator.
• As a bonus action, the amulet's creator can hold person on the attuned creature. When cast this way, the recipient has disadvantage on all Wisdom saving throws against the spell. Once used twice, this property of the amulet can't be used again until the next long rest.
