The weapon has 12 charges. While wielding the weapon, you can use an action and expend 1 or more charges to cast one of the following spells, requiring no components (save DC 16, +8 to hit with spell attacks): Daylight (3 charges), Wall of Light (5 charges), Moonbeam (2 charges), Blinding Smite (3 charges), Thunderwave (1 charge), Enervation (5 charges). You can use more charges to cast a higher-level version of these spells: 1 charge for the 1st-level version, 2 charges for the 2nd-level version, etc. In addition, you can cast dancing lights at will.
Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
