Weapon (shortbow), common

Dousing a Creature or an Object.
When you take the Attack action, you can replace one of your attacks with firing an Arrow of Oil. Target one creature or object within the weapon’s normal range. On a hit, the arrow deals 1d6 + dex piercing damage, and the oil vial shatters, coating the target in oil.
If the target takes Fire damage before the oil dries (after 1 minute), the target takes an extra 5 Fire damage from burning oil.

Dousing a Space.
When you fire the arrow at a point on level ground within range, the arrow shatters on impact, spreading oil to cover a 5-foot-square area centered on that point.
If lit, the oil burns until the end of the turn 2 rounds from when the oil was lit and deals 5 Fire damage to any creature that enters the area or ends its turn there. A creature can take this damage only once per turn.

Lighting the Arrow.
As an action, you can ignite the oil vial using tinderbox. Or as a bonus action you can ignite the oil vial using an open flame source such as a torch or camp fire.If the arrow is lit when fired, the oil ignites immediately upon impact. The arrow will also function as a torch for 1 minute if lit and not fired.
