Wondrous Item, common
This smooth, palm-sized stone pulses with a soft inner light. As an action, you can activate the beacon, causing it to emit a magical signal that travels across planar boundaries. Any creature attuned to a linked beacon stone (determined when the stones are created) knows the direction and approximate distance to this beacon, regardless of the plane they’re on.
The signal lasts for 1 hour or until you use an action to deactivate it. Once used, the beacon cannot be activated again until the next dawn.
Astral beacon stones are often used by Wildspace navigators and explorers to mark safe havens or call for aid across vast distances.
