This armor once shone with the light of divine radiance but has been reforged by dark magic and vile intent. Whereas some holy or celestial armor would enhance radiance and light, this armor works to snuff it out. While wearing the armor, the air around you falls unnaturally still, as though the world itself recoils from the presence of the armor. You gain a + 2 bonus to your Armor Class and have resistance to necrotic damage while wearing the armor. If you are already resistant to necrotic damage, you instead become immune to it.
Additionally, you emit a 30-foot radius aura of muted light at all times while wearing the armor, appearing as slow drifting motes of voidlight that cling to radiant effects. This aura applies the following effects:
Mute The Light. Whenever a creature within your aura deals radiant damage, it must reroll the dice for thee damage and take the lower roll.
Corrupting Shift. When a creature within your aura deals damage of any type, you can use your reaction to change the entire damage instance into necrotic damage.
Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
Notes: Resistance: Necrotic, Bonus: Armor Class, by a paladin, Str. 15 Required, Stealth Disadvantage
