This armor has been forged in the heavens by the gods them selves in order to protect their followers. This full set of armor covers the head, legs, torso and arms and provides leather boots. Joints are less covered to provide mobility and are padded thus provided more mobility without making any more noise than ones clothing would.
When preparing for combat one can use an action to make a magical shield appear taking on light accents of their Deity.(If your deity Is that of love there'll be ping swirls. If of fire, ember like details will be able to be seen. If one of knowledge various runes and glyphs will spread across the surface.) This shield while active will give you advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects, and spell attacks have disadvantage against you.
The boots make your steps silent, but not any less heavy thus making you still capable of being tracked.
While wearing the Armor of Devout Protection critical hits are made into normal hits and has resistance to piercing and slashing damage.
This suit has a Ward of Death that only affects the one wearing the suit. The first time the target would drop to 0 hit points as a result of taking damage, the target instead drops to 1 hit point, and the spell ends.If the spell is still in effect when the target is subjected to an effect that would kill it instantaneously without dealing damage, that effect is instead negated against the target, and the spell ends.
This may only happen once per day and recharges at dawn.
Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
