Crafted specifically for arcane casters who are determining their future path. Every morning the wearer may choose a type of meta-magic effect and infuse a spell of choice with it during that day. The spell is cast as it's normal level and no restrictions apply. The meta-magic effect is spent after 1 use but recharges daily. On the inside of the collar are a number of gold stitched runes which represent all types of meta-magic. By saying the first command word and pressing on a rune the wearer sets the meta-magic type. When the second command word is spoken the magic effect is released and fuses with a spell cast at that time.Due to the high mortality rate of starting adventurer arcane casters some effort is put into making the robes look very plain therefore usually come in brown or dark-grey. The higher quality versions have options like hidden pouches or a minor resistance versus a specific element. Beside the whole student side of the item it has proven extremely useful for any caster with a strong strategic inclination making them very sought after, even by more experiënced casters.
Note : This effect can only fuse with spells cast normally and not from scrolls or other such items.
Notes: yes. Arcane casters only
