You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this weapon.
Charges. This weapon has 40 charges. It regains 5 charges whenever you load an acid vial into it. Whenever you make an attack, you may instead cause one of the effects below:
Acid bolt: (1 charge) You fire a bolt of acid at a creature within 120 feet. Make a ranged attack roll against the creature, dealing 2d6 acid damage on a hit.
Acid mortar: (8 charges) You fire an orb of acid that explodes at a point within 60 feet. Each creature within 10 feet of the point makes a dexterity saving throw, taking 2d10 acid damage on a failed save or half as much damage on a successful one. When you use this attack you are pushed backwards 10 feet.
Acid spray: (5 charges) You spray acid in a 15 foot cone. Each creature in the cone makes a dexterity saving throw, taking 2d12 acid damage on a failed save or half as much damage on a successful one.
Acid Blast: (4 charges) You spray a concentrated line of acid. The line is 30 feet long and 5 feet wide. The acid melts through 5 feet of metal and organic material, such as wood, within 1-3 rounds depending on its composition and durability. Each creature in the line makes a dexterity saving throw, taking 2d8 acid damage on a failed save or half as much damage on a successful one.
It’s up to you to decide whether a character has proficiency with a firearm. Characters in most D&D worlds wouldn’t have such proficiency. During their downtime, characters can use the training rules in the Player’s Handbook to acquire proficiency, assuming that they have enough ammunition to keep the weapons working while mastering their use.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
Notes: Bonus: Magic, Damage, Combat, Range, Two-Handed, Ammunition (Firearms), Reload, Sap
