Amulet of Assured Death

This item has 3 charges that recharge on a long rest.

The user can spend a charge to mark an enemy for death. If the user deals damage to a marked enemy, the damage dealt is doubled and the mark is removed. If the marked enemy takes damage from any other source, the mark prematurely fades.

Notes: Attacks that hit multiple times or doing multiple attacks in a single turn will only double the damage of the first hit. Spells, indirect sources of damage directly caused by the user, etc count. For example, you could double the damage of a dropped piano if you mark the enemy then cut the rope suspending it., creature.
