Wondrous Item, rare

Amulet of the Silent Veil — Wondrous item, rare (requires attunement by a cleric) "Not all silence is stillness. Some silence holds back the tide." This simple silver amulet is filled with ever-churning silver mist that never disperses. Though aged, it remains pristine—untouched by time, decay, or defilement. It is always cool to the touch, and when held to the ear, it whispers like a distant river. Some claim the mist inside is the breath of a god, others say it is the last sigh of an ancient world. Peaceful Rest: Once per day, after finishing a long rest, you may cast a unique version of the Hallow spell. This version does not require components and may only apply one effect, Sacred Grounding. You touch a point and infuse an area with a 30-foot radius around it, with divine stillness. Corpses interred in that area cannot be turned into undead unless the effect is dispelled with dispel magic (DC 15) or overridden by a Wish spell. Seal the Flesh: While attuned to Amulet of the Silent Veil, you have resistance to necrotic damage. Forged in the Old Ages before the Cataclysm, the Amulet of the Silent Veil was once worn by Veilwalkers—clerics of many faiths tasked with easing the dead into the afterlife and barring their return. It is a relic of a time when undeath was feared not only for its horror but for its spiritual desecration. Some whisper that the silver mist within the amulet is drawn from the Silent River, a mythical stream said to flow beneath Mount Shadowstar where souls pass from Shadowstar to judgment. None have found this river, but those who wear the amulet often dream of distant waters and forgotten names

Notes: Resistance: Necrotic
