Armor (padded), rare

When you wear this piece of armor, you for some reason decide it is good idea to strap a block of C4 right on your chest. Why the heck did you think this was a good idea?

When wearing this you actually receive no bonus to your armor class and instead have a -1 to your armor class but when you accumulate 30 or more damage in one round or take a killing blow, you explode and deal 10d6 fire damage to you and everyone in a 15 ft. radius of where you were standing. If you survive somehow, are you happy yourself now? Well are you?

DM (New more innocent guy): I'm not trying to judge but is it really a good idea to strap 30 pounds of dynamite to your chest and charge in headfirst-

Player (He's turned to a real you know what): Silence! I charge in headfirst!

DM: The troll swipes you with it's claw and hits the C4 on your chest which triggers it and kills your whole party while somehow not killing the troll as it gets a headache from trying to figure out what just happened, then does a one man victory conga away.

Bob the Cleric: What the heck man?! You just killed me for the second time moron!

Player (Rethinks every decision leading up to this single moment).

Padded armor consists of quilted layers of cloth and batting.

Notes: Stealth Disadvantage
