Weapon (mace), legendary (requires attunement)

Stormeye is a war-scepter, finely crafted and imbued with the righteous power of divine lighting. It was forged to fight evil, and in evil's hands its full potential is locked away.

Stormeye is a good-aligned item, but it is not sentient. Evil creatures that wield it only get the +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls.
While attuned to and wielding this item it grants the following benefits:

  • You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
  • This weapon deals an additional 1d4 bludgeoning damage to all undead.
  • This weapon deals an additional 1d4 Lighting damage to all fiends.
  • 2/Day: As a bonus action on your turn, you may have this weapon deal 2d4 lighting damage to all enemies within 10 feet of you. Each enemy damaged this way who's CR is less than half your character level must succeed on a DC10 Constitution saving throw or on their next turn must choose whether it gets to move, OR use an action, OR use a bonus action.
  • You gain Resistance to Lighting damage.
  • You know the Fist of the Heavens spell. If you do not have a spellcasting feature, you gain a level 1, level 2, and level 3 spell slot, and may chose Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma as your spellcasting ability. These spell slots may only be used to cast Fist of the Heavens.

Item based off the Diablo 2 item of the same name.
