Random other adventurer who doesn't matter (Finds an ancient citadel and does what any D&D player would do and rushes in): Wowee! Imagine how many level 3 scrolls this place has to have!
The Frenzied Heart (Whispers in the back of the guys mind like a mad man): Hello young one... You seek treasure do you? I am the most valuable item here, I am an artifact and I can show you the power to defeat gods.
The guy: Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...?
The Frenzied Heart (Rethinks if this guy is even worth it): Just take me to my rightful place in my body deep within the depths.
The guy: Why?
The Frenzied Heart: Long ago I was a powerful creature known as BlackBlade47 and I gave life to this world but it took it for granted. I could destroy them but a powerful wizard known a Bob the Maintenance Worker fended me back long enough for the devs stop me and reduce me to nothing. My body and mind were to powerful to be destroyed so they separated it and locked my corpse away underground but now that you have found me, we can resume the cycle and end this world once and for all but beware Bob still remains even though during the great battle he was killed. He lives under the new name of Bob the Cleric and even though he is nowhere as strong as he used to be he can still stop me while I am in this form.
The guy (Thinking he's being given a quest by the DM and not a living heart that is speaking to him telepathically): Okay!
The Frenzied Heart: Good, now make haste, the chances are they already are coming to stop us.
Bob the Cleric (Gets a sense that an ancient evil has just been unleashed but brushes it off thinking that the player found The Stick again).
The Frenzied Heart is a Lawful Evil sentient magic item with a 30 in every stat and speaks all languages, that takes the form of a jet black severed heart that still beats. It grants the creature attuned to it advantage on all saving throws and a 10 point bonus to it's maximum hit points. Whenever someone attuned to it defy's it's orders it must make a DC 20 Charisma saving throw or be effected by a Dominate Person spell. If the attuned creature is in danger while within 30 ft. of the heart, the heart begins to beat rapidly and violently as it throws it's attuned creature gets thrown into a frenzy granting them the ability to make a second action on their turn and move twice as much as they normally can for one minute.

Posted Feb 14, 2026Okay guys, some guy I showed my D&D homebrew stuff thought that these creations were part of a story line and that kind of inspired me since on my old account if any of you were there or remembered, I was a BlackBlade47 and I got really popular with characters like Charles the Main Character or Chris the Sad Lonely Background Character but for some reason they disappeared. I'm using this account because the BlackBlade47 account was on a different email I can't remember the password to but I hope you like the story I'm making. because if any of you have ever seen the creature named BlackBlade47 which was pretty popular prior to it's disappearance, you know it'd make a great villain. I'll post any links to the new parts of the story in the comments to the last one.
