Armor (splint), legendary (requires attunement by a Long Rest)

This ancient suit of heavy scale armor is made up of overlapping metal scales that cover the wearer's torso and shoulders as well as bracers made of metal plate protecting the wearer's forearms and legs. Runes of some long-dead language can be found engraved into the metal throughout the armor

The Armor of the Tyrant thrives on the victories of its wearer and the downfall of their enemies. Whenever you reduce a creature of CR 1/8 or higher to 0 hit points with a weapon or spell attack you gain an effect granted by the armor. The effect is determined randomly from the following table. If an attack that reduces a creature to 0 hit points is a critical hit you may re-roll the effect die and choose which of the two effects activates.

d20 Effect
01 No effect.
02-10 You gain temporary hit points equal to half the damage done by the attack.
11 Until the end of your next turn, you have a +1 bonus to AC.
12 Your next attack has a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls.
13 If your next attack hits, it deals an extra 1d8 of the attack's damage type.
14 Until the end of your next turn, you have resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage from nonmagical sources.
15 Until the end of your next turn, your movement speed is increased by 10 feet.
16 The next time you hit with a weapon attack the target must make a Strength saving throw with a DC equal to the damage taken or be knocked prone.
17 The next time you are hit with a melee attack you may use your reaction to push the attacker up to 15 feet away.
18 Until the end of your next turn, you gain the effects of the Haste spell.
19 Your next attack has advantage.
20 Your next attack is an automatic critical hit.

This armor is made of narrow vertical strips of metal riveted to a backing of leather that is worn over cloth padding. Flexible chain mail protects the joints.

Notes: Long Rest, Str. 15 Required, Stealth Disadvantage
