Appearance
This amulet is forged from dark obsidian etched with ancient dwarven runes. At its center rests a slowly pulsing ember-crystal, warm to the touch but never burning. When danger draws near, the ember glows brighter, like a coal stirred back to life.
Properties
Ember’s Shelter
While wearing the amulet, you gain resistance to fire damage.
Resting Flame
When you finish a short or long rest, you regain 1d6 + your Constitution modifier hit points as gentle warmth spreads through your body. If you are already at full hit points, you instead gain temporary hit points equal to your proficiency bonus.
Ashbound Resolve (1/Day)
When you are reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, you may use your reaction to drop to 1 hit point instead. A burst of embers surrounds you, and creatures of your choice within 5 feet take fire damage equal to your proficiency bonus.
Once this property is used, it can’t be used again until the next dawn.
