Passed down from one generation to the next, this Halberd has been used by the Herald bloodline for centuries. After Ivar Herald, the former General of King Garrett’s Army in Odatis, was struck down in the Jade Nexus, the halberd was passed down to his daughter, Hilda Herald, along with his General title.

You have a +8 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this weapon, with the base damage as 2d8. This weapon has a reach of 10 feet.
This weapon deals even more damage to Orcs, dealing 2d12.
When in rage, any creature you hit with this weapon takes extra slashing damage equal to your half your Barbarian level rounded down.
Only an attuned wielder can carry this weapon. If anyone else tries to pick it up, it becomes too heavy to lift and, thus, unusable.
Cleaving: The length and sharp edge of your weapon allows you to strike in wide arcs.
When an attack with this weapon reduces a creature to 0 hit points, you can transfer any remaining damage to a creature within 5 feet of the first that you can reach (with this weapon), if the original attack roll would hit it.
If that creature is likewise reduced to 0 hit points, repeat this process, carrying over the remaining damage until there are no valid targets, or until the damage carried over fails to kill an enemy.
Proficiency with a Halberd allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Cleave. If you hit a creature with a melee attack roll using this weapon, you can make a melee attack roll with the weapon against a second creature within 5 feet of the first that is also within your reach. On a hit, the second creature takes the weapon’s damage, but don’t add your ability modifier to that damage unless that modifier is negative. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
