An adult remorhaz's heart is a hot ball of hard, thick fibrous flesh, and looks like a burning coal. The heart continues to burn long after the remorhaz is killed (10d6 years). It is difficult to handle. It deals 10 (3d6) fire damage per round to any one in direct contact with it.
Arctic communities prize the heart for the continual life-giving heat the heart gives off. Artificers value the heart for its ongoing energy they can harness. Master crafters can use the heart to create powerfull magic items, such as an Staff of Fire, any Flame Tongue Item or several (1d4) Ring of Fire Resistance.
