Arrows of Hobbling

Some days you just don't want to go for yet another run after prey that got it into it's head to run away. Or perhaps the front liners and beat sticks of your party are being tested a little too hard; this is where Arrows of Hobbling come in handy. Any creature that suffers a hit from such ammunition is suffers damage and often extra elemental damage as well; but then comes the best part of these arrows. Creatures hit must make a DC 18 Str check or have their movement halved for a number of rounds equal to the elemental damage done.

Once the Hobble effect wears off, these arrows return to the wielder.
