This brass-tubed apparatus utilizes internal spore growth vats that react to the user’s adrenaline. The device remains dormant until it senses the biological surge of combat.

  • Adrenal Activation: This item only functions while you are in combat.

  • Spore Charges: This item has 5 charges. It regains all expended charges daily at dawn.

  • Spore Discharge: Once on each of your turns, you can expend 1 charge (no action required) to expel a cloud of spores from the brass tubing. Choose one of the following effects:

    • Necrotic Spores: Make a ranged spell attack (range 15 feet) against a creature using your Wisdom modifier. On a hit, the target takes 1d4 + Wis necrotic damage.

    • Mending Spores: One conscious creature you can see within 15 feet regains hit points equal to 1d4 + your Wisdom modifier.
