In the twilight hush between the Feywild and the waking world,Aurkia Windweft made a vow that would not bend.
Aurelia found a piece of a champion of the Summer Court, and had is crafted into a set of Bracers, into with she weaved her magic. She made this item for a paladin whose oath was sworn not in shadowed cathedrals but beneath flowering boughs lit by sunrise. When the Gloam Host attempted to drown the Fey roads in sorrow and enchantment, she will stand as a pillar of dawn against their glamour and terror.
The bracers were forged from sun-gilded silver and thornwood taken from a treant who willingly gave a branch at first light. They were bound with a single promise: “Let my strike fall as surely as the rising sun.”
Abilities (Whispered in the language of oaths)
-
Dawnbound Guard. While wearing these bracers, you gain a +1 bonus to Armor Class. A faint shimmer of golden motes clings to your movements, like the last threads of sunrise refusing to fade.
-
Radiant Vow (1/Long Rest). The next time you invoke Divine Smite, the damage is maximized instead of rolled. No flicker. No hesitation. The light lands with the certainty of morning.
-
Seelie Aura. While you are conscious, allies within 10 feet gain advantage on saving throws against being Charmed or Frightened. A subtle warmth gathers around you, and illusions seem thinner, fear less convincing. It feels as though unseen bells are ringing somewhere in bright gardens.
When their power stirs:
-
Fine filaments of light trace along the engraved vines.
-
A soft dawn-hued radiance spills outward in a ten-foot halo.
-
The scent of wild honey and summer air lingers for a heartbeat.
They do not blaze like a battlefield relic. They glow like a promise kept.
-
