Astrolabe of the Magus

This spherical astrolabe has a single crystal surrounded by multiple concentric silver rings. They can be turned and spun around without friction, but otherwise are not useful for navigation. By consuming a level 1 spell slot channeled into the crystal, the astrolabe automatically orients and maintains its orientation for 8hours. During this time one of its functions is acting as the Locate Object spell.

-One ring always points geographic north

-One ring constantly slowly rotates and tells the exact time on Orim (divided by six sections: Dawn, Morning, Noon, Afternoon, Evening, Midnight)

-One ring points toward the object being located, always
