When drawn, the blade emits dim blue light in a 10-foot radius (Can be turned off as a free action by the attuned wielder), like cold starlight reflecting off still water. The weapon hums softly with celestial power when wielded by the unattuned.

You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

The sword seems to recognize a destined bearer. When wielded by its true owner, the balance of the weapon subtly shifts, allowing it to be wielded with impossible grace; the greatsword gains the Finesse property for that creature.

Awakening Power

The blade contains dormant celestial power that reveals itself as the wielder grows closer to their divine heritage.

First Awakening — Radiant Harmony
If the attuned wielder has the Aasimar’s Celestial Revelation (Aasimar transformation) trait, the sword reacts when that power is unleashed. When the wielder activates their transformation, the spell Divine Favor is automatically cast on them (no action required and no spell slot needed). The spell lasts for its normal duration.

Second Awakening — Ascendant Revelation
As the further sword awakens, it deepens the wielder’s celestial connection. While attuned to the awakened blade, the wielder gains the ability to use their Assimar transformation an additional time between long rests.

Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
