Ring, very rare

Frame Sovereign’s Chronometer

Wondrous Item (legendary), requires attunement

A sleek, silver pocket watch with a crystal face. When opened, the glass reveals a spinning ring of 24 glowing runes, each representing a frame of motion. Time around the wearer seems to stutter and skip like a film reel.

Those attuned to the watch gain access to Projection Sorcery.

Ability: Projection Frame

As a bonus action, you activate the chronometer and declare a 24-frame movement sequence.

For the next 6 seconds (1 round):

• Your movement becomes supernaturally fast and precise
• You gain +30 ft movement speed
• Opportunity attacks against you have disadvantage

You must follow the exact path you declared.

If you break the sequence, you become paralyzed until the end of your next turn as the frames collapse.

Frame Strike

Once during your frame sequence, you may make a Frame Strike.

Melee Attack:
+2 weapon bonus

On hit:

• Deals an extra 4d8 force damage
• The target must make a DC 17 Constitution save

On failure the creature becomes Frozen in Frame.

Frozen creatures are restrained until the end of their next turn, appearing like a glitching still image.

24 Frame Perfection (1/Day)

You fully synchronize with the chronometer.

For 1 minute:

• Your speed doubles
• You may move across walls, air, or water
• Each attack deals +2d8 force damage

Enemies that attempt opportunity attacks must succeed on a DC 18 Wisdom save or become Frozen in Frame for 1 turn.

Frame Vision

While attuned to the chronometer you perceive movement in temporal frames.

You gain:

• Advantage on Dexterity saving throws
• Advantage on initiative rolls
• Cannot be surprised

Risk — Frame Collapse

If you ever take 50+ damage in a single round while Projection Frame is active, the chronometer shatters the timeline around you.

You must succeed on a DC 18 Constitution save or become paralyzed for 1 round as time violently corrects itself.
