The amulet featured the holy symbol of Jergal, a black skull with green jade set in its eyes, set upon a beaded chain.
The amulet granted its wearer with the power to cast Speak with Dead spell multiple times each day and ask a five questions of their subject. The corpse must have a mouth, and this spell fails if the deceased creature was Undead when it died. The spell also fails if the corpse was the target of this spell within the past 10 days. Interestingly enough, the recently deceased often refused to have conversations with their killers.
The Amulet has 4 charges and resest 1d3+1 each dawn. Each charge allows the holder to cast the Speak with Dead spell.
