This heavy golden medal hangs from a deep crimson ribbon embroidered with silver thread. The face of the medal bears the raised image of two crossed gladiator blades beneath a roaring lion’s head—the ancient symbol of the arena.
Along the rim of the medal are engraved the words:
“Valor in Battle. Honor in Defeat. Glory Eternal.”
When worn around the neck, the medal feels warm against the skin, as though it remembers the thunder of cheering crowds.
