Armor (plate), artifact (requires attunement by a Dwarf of Royal Heritage.)

This highly decorated and intricately ornate full plate armor is adorned with gold and platinum trim. It has the holy symbol of Moradin, the Dwarven God, emblazoned on the chest. This armor has been passed down to the High King Under the Mountain for 100 generations to the rightful heir to the Dwarven Royal Blood. It was lost over 400 years ago when the last High King was lost during the Great War for the Mountain.

If the armor normally imposes disadvantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks or has a Strength requirement, the mithral version of the armor doesn't.

Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
