The APMJR (Armor Piercing Modular Javelin Round) is a basic javelin but with modifications made to be compatible to be used with the PJL (Propelled Javelin Launcher)
Originally created by the "Shakers At Arms" mercenary group. In its most basic form is made with a Javelin and any type of attached propellant/explosion object. An even lesser variant of the APMJR can be created by a basic javelin and a propellant type spell with [roll]3d8[/roll] of damage. The victim can avoid it by rolling a dexterity above 15. However it isn't a true APMJR round due to the lack of speed of the spell propellant spreading the force.
The APMJR round is extremely modular and can be fitted with a multitude of spells, imbues, that can stack damage and effects with the modularity. The Round also gets a massive velocity boost if shot out of a PJL, inducing added piercing damage for [roll]7d6[/roll] and a higher dexterity saving throw of 19 or higher due to the speed of the round.
If imbued with a Poison imbue, roll an extra [roll]2d4[/roll] for damage, roll it again for passive damage for one more turn. Then it stops its effects on the victim.
If imbued with a Fire/Incendiary imbue, roll an extra [roll]3d6[/roll] for damage, roll it again for passive damage for one more turn. Then it stops its effects on the victim.
If imbued with Lightning imbue, roll an extra [roll]3d10[/roll] for damage with added disadvantage on the victim for the next turn.
If imbued with Acid imbue, roll an extra [roll]2d8[/roll] for damage.
Proficiency with a Javelin allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
