Base Properties

Grants +2 AC (standard shield)

While wielding this shield, you gain a +1 bonus to AC against melee attacks only
Rebounding Parry (Core Feature)
When a creature you can see hits you with a melee attack, you may use your reaction to attempt a parry:

Roll 1d8 + your proficiency bonus

Reduce the damage taken by that amount
If this reduces the damage to 0, you may:

Push the attacker 5 ft. away

Make a single melee weapon attack against them

Deflecting Angle
If you moved at least 10 ft. on your turn before being attacked:

Shields require the Utilize action to Don or Doff. You gain the Armor Class benefit of a Shield only if you have training with it.
