This fashionable article, which is much more durable than it appears, will convey to you more protection than the simple cloth worn over it. Your pride will encourage you to wear clothing where hints of this item can be seen, for it is most fashionable.
When you are attuned to this item and wearing it, this item will give you a base armor class of 15 as long as you are not wearing armor. If it can be seen beneath your clothing, you gain an advantage on all performance checks. Now that it has awoken to your presence, it also grants advantage on deception and persuasion checks while you are telling a story. You also gain a critic in the form of a theatrical voice that critiques your performances, praising you (and giving you 4 temporary hit points) on an exceptional performance while offering disdain and ridicule (and disadvantage on your next skill check of any kind) on performances that are poor in taste or skill.
