This sickly green, viscous concoction smells of mold and sulfur. The taste is better left undescribed.
When you drink this potion, make a Constitution saving throw with advantage. If you succeed on this saving throw, your contamination level is reduced by one.
If you fail the saving throw, your body rejects the vile substance; you retch, vomit, and are poisoned until the end of your next turn. You gain no benefit from consuming the potion.
Either way, you immediately gain one level of exhaustion. This exhaustion cannot be prevented by any means and may only be removed by completing a long rest.
Researcher's note: Laboratory testing concludes that Aqua Cleanse may only be used to reduce contamination levels 1-3. Creatures under the effects of contamination levels 4-6 are far too deeply corrupted for this treatment protocol to have any appreciable impact. These subjects also do not experience the common nausea or exhaustion effects, as their bodies no longer undergo expected violent, involuntary reaction to the repulsive brew.
