Weapon (scimitar), artifact (requires attunement by a by a Fighter, Ranger, Paladin, Druid and Mastery of Scimitars)

A scimitar made by Warven elder blacksmiths for their war against the gods. It was one of many weapons created by them that are now lost to new civilization. Its blade is made of a brilliant blue metal called Aquirite. The blade's guard is made with black steel and the handle made with the ancient wood of the world tree. It's said that the blade can slice through anything at full power. Due to the blade's power, wielding at full power when one isn't ready would only lead to one's death, but as they get stronger; the Foring Scimitar will also grow stronger.

You gain +3 bonus to attack rolls and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. When you roll a 20 on the d20 for an attack roll with this weapon, the target takes an extra 21 Necrotic damage.

While holding the Foring Scimitar, you gain the following effects:

Combat Ready. You have Advantage on Initiative rolls.

Charges. The Foring Scimitar has a number of charges that is half the attuned wielder's level divided by two with a max of 6. It regains 1d6 charges daily at dawn.

Absolute Edge. The Foring Scimitar ignores all non-magical invulnerability and resistances to slashing damage. Expending a charge you can also ignore magical invulnerability and resistances to slashing damage and any added AC via armor or shields.

Air Slash. Expending a charge you can unleash a devastating slash in a 15-foot cone area. All creatures in the area must make a dexterity taking 4d8 slashing damage on a failure and half on a save. DC is your initiative you rolled for combat.

Disintegrate. While wielding the Foring Scimitar and with at least 4 charges, you can cast the level 8 version of Disintegrate. Once used, this property can’t be used again until the next dawn. (Note: This does not use charges to use this ability)

Sentience. The Foring Scimitar is a sentient weapon of Chaotic Neutral alignment, with an Intelligence of 14, a Wisdom of 14, and a Charisma of 16. It has hearing and Darkvision out to 120 feet.

The weapon communicates with their wielder and speaks in Primordial.

Personality. The Foring Scimitar will not speak to its wielder if it doesn't consider them worthy. It will also constantly want to go into battle so it can slice up opponents. It will consider its wielder unworthy if they don't use them in combat enough.

Destroying the Foring Scimitar of Slicing. To destroy the Foring Scimitar you must be or have the knowledge of a Warven elder blacksmith, and it must be deconstructed in the heart of the Warven forge. Destroying it releases the sentience inside allowing it to become a deity.

Proficiency with a Scimitar allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
