Armor (plate), legendary

This magnificent suit of plate armor appears to be forged from an unknown metal that shimmers like a night sky. Between its plates, faint lines of light glow as if stars were burning beneath the surface. Every step of its wearer echoes with the weight of cosmic forces.

Property – Gravitational Bulwark 

As a reaction when you are hit by an attack, you can intensify gravity around you:

  • The damage is reduced by 3d10
  • The attacker must succeed on a Strength saving throw (DC 17) or be:
    • pushed 10 feet away
    • and knocked prone

 Usable a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest


Property – Weight of the World

Your presence distorts the battlefield:

  • Enemies within 10 feet of you have:
    • –10 feet movement speed
  • When a creature hits you with a melee attack:
    • it takes 1d6 force damage

Property – Event Horizon 

Once per long rest, as an action, you can create a gravitational field (20-foot radius, lasts 1 minute):

  • Enemies in the area:
    • have their movement speed halved
    • cannot move more than 20 feet away from the center
  • If they attempt to leave the area:
    • they take 2d8 force damage
  • At the start of each of their turns:
    • they are pulled 10 feet toward the center

Property – Stellar Anchor

While conscious, you cannot be moved against your will or knocked prone.


Curse – Burden of Eternity 

This armor carries the weight of stars:

  • Your movement speed is reduced by 10 feet
  • You have disadvantage on Dexterity saving throws
  • When you drop below 50% hit points:
    • the armor creates an unstable field → all creatures (including you) within 10 feet:
      • must make a Strength saving throw (DC 15) or fall prone

Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
