This curious Kupelo doll hanging from a rusty steel neck chain is made of blackened, dried hemp with a shriveled apple head. It can occasionally be heard giggling childishly. It has two innate properties.

A Shaded Greeting: Once per day as a Bonus Action, the attuned user can us the Kupelo as a focus to summon a shadow clone of itself. This clone uses all stats and item effects of the summoner and acts on the summoners initiative with the following exceptions: It has half of the user's HP at the time it is summoned, gets only one attack on its action, uses psychic versions of the summoner's weapons that do 1/4 damage as psychic rather than whatever their usual damage types, can't cast spells or activate magical item effects, has no bonus action or reaction of its own, and can't talk. But it is ethereal, resists all physical and magical damage that doesn't specifically target ethereal creatures, and is immune to Area of Effect (AoE) spells not cast on the ethereal plane. It can only be touched, grappled, restrained, paralyzed, pushed or knocked prone on the ethereal plane by creatures that can specifically target such an attack into the ethereal plane. It likewise cannot physically touch or interact with objects on the material plane and can freely pass through walls, ceilings and other creatures on its turn, suffering no damage and causing no damage by doing so. It is invisible to creatures using blindsignt and In total darkness it is invisible even to creatures with darkvision, though effects like Truesignt or devil's sight (pieces magical darkness) can detect its position in total darkness. In dim or bright light it is a shadowy clone of its summoner.
It lasts up to 10 minutes or until dispelled as a free action by the summoner, or until it or the caster is destroyed; whether destroyed or not, it can be resummoned again after the following midnight. -
Dervish Duet: At any time while the shadow clone is active, the attuned user can use their bonus action to exchange relative positions with it (ie with where it appears to be on the material or other plane, not into the ethereal plane where it really is). If attempted on the ethereal plane, this effect fails. There is no range or usage limit, but the clone must have been summoned first for this effect to be used.
