While wearing these wings, you can use an action to activate them, causing them to unfurl and extend from your back. As part of this activation, you must insert a mana crystal into the wings’ core. While active, you gain a flying speed of 60 feet.
The wings remain active for up to 1 hour, or until you dismiss them as an action.
The wings are powered by the inserted mana crystal. Once the wings have been active for 1 hour, the crystal is expended and becomes inert. The wings cannot be activated without a mana crystal.
If the mana crystal is removed or depleted while the wings are active, the wings cease functioning. If this occurs while you are airborne, you descend safely at a rate of 60 feet per round until you reach the ground.
