Annoying Sword of Avis v4

This longsword was not forged from steel, but from spite, this weapon was once an assistant named Avis, whose endless chatter finally drove his master—a powerful wizard—to drastic measures. With a single spell, the wizard bound Avis into the form of a blade and sold him off without a second thought.

Since then, the weapon has passed through countless hands. None have kept it for long. Most never had the chance

Over time, it became known—half in mockery, half in warning—as the Sword of Avis.
Once per long rest, you can deal an extra 3d8 force damage

Curse

Whoever takes hold of this weapon becomes bound to it.
The curse cannot be removed by any means short of divine intervention (or DM fiat).

The sword:

• Speaks constantly, loudly, and against your will
• Cannot be silenced by magic or mundane means
• Frequently comments on your actions, often at the worst possible moments

While unattuned, you suffer:

• Disadvantage on Charisma ability checks
• Disadvantage on Stealth checks

& Whenever you roll:

• Natural 1 → Sword insults you →you take 1d6 psychic damage
• Natural 20 → Sword takes credit → must succeed DC 14 Wis save or:
  • Use your action next turn arguing with it
    
    

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
