The ancient set of magic items with power over the inferno, forged by forger of the six horizons centuries ago, thought to be lost to time.

🧣 1. Scarf of the Smoldering Sky

Wondrous item, rare (requires attunement)

A scarf of ember‑red cloth that can erupt in flame.

Properties

  • Advantage on Intimidation checks..

  • Once per short rest, you can cast Fire Shield with no component as if the scarf casted it.

 

🧀 2. Gauntlets of the Coalgrip

Wondrous item, uncommon

Blackened metal gloves warm to the touch.

Properties

  • You can safely handle fire and temperatures up to 1000 Fahrenheit (538 Celcius)

  • +2 bonus to Strength (Athletics) checks made to shove or grapple.

 

🧡 3. Ashplume Mantle

Wondrous item, rare (requires attunement)

A mantle that sheds drifting ash that vanishes before touching the ground.

Properties

  • If you succed on an fire based saving throw take no damage if you fail take half.

  • Once per long rest, you can summon 4 10ft by 10ft flames within 60ft of you. When someone besides you steps or starts their turn in a flame they take 4d6 fire damage.

Armor (medium), very rare (requires attunement)

Armor forged from volcanic alloy, glowing faintly in the cracks.

Properties

  • AC 16 + Dex modifier (max +2).

  • Once per long rest, you can ignite your armor for 1 minute:

    • Resistance to nonmagical bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage.

    • Creatures that hit you with melee attacks take 1d6 fire damage.

    • Your footsteps turn the ground to lava for one turn after which they dissaper. If a creature besides you steps in or starts a turn in the lava they sink 5ft into the magma which is difficult terrain and take 3+ however many feet deep they are d6.

 

βš”οΈ 5. Inferno Edge

Weapon (longsword), rare (requires attunement)

A sword with a molten core visible through glowing red runes.

Properties

  • +2 longsword.

  • Deals an extra 2d6 fire damage once per turn.

  • Once per day, when you reduce a creature to 0 HP, you erupt in a burst of flame:

    • You gain temporary hit points equal to your proficiency bonus Γ— 2.

    • Your weapon sheds bright light for 1 minute.

2 Pieces Equipped β€” Blazewalker

  • +5 ft movement speed.

  • You can walk across lava and burning surfaces without taking damage.

3 Pieces Equipped β€” Emberstep

  • Once per short rest, you can use a bonus action to teleport up to 20 feet to a space you can see, leaving a brief trail of sparks.

4 Pieces Equipped β€” Furnace Within

  • Resistance to fire damage.

  • Advantage on saving throws against being frightened.

  • Your melee attacks deal +1 fire damage.

5 Pieces Equipped β€” Avatar of the Inferno

Passive Effects

  • You can cast Fireball once per day.

  • You cannot be tracked by heat signatures or scent.

  • You have exprtise on all Intimidation checks.

Inferno Form (1/day) As an action, you become a blazing silhouette of living flame for 1 minute:

  • You shed bright light in a 20‑ft radius.

  • You can teleport up to 60 feet as a bonus action, leaving a scorch mark.

  • Your attacks send a arc of fire 30ft in the direction you are facing that does 2d6 fire damage.

  • When the effect ends, you reform in your current space.
