Weapon (longsword), very rare (requires attunement by a Requires attunement by Raizen or another war god)

This blade is not forged as a weapon in isolation, but as a continuation of the Aegis doctrine itself—where protection does not end at interception, but becomes consequence.

The metal is iron-gray with faint crimson threading that pulses in response to nearby harm. It feels less like a sword and more like a line drawn through reality that refuses to be crossed without judgment.

It is not drawn to strike first. It is drawn to finalize what the Aegis has already decided to endure.

Aegisblade Verdict

When you use Aegis Flicker or Aegis Lumen, you may immediately make one melee weapon attack with the Aegisblade of the Unbroken Oath against a creature within 5 feet of the affected target.

  • This attack does not require an action
  • This attack represents judgment delivered through proximity, not additional force output

Oath of the Closed Path

When you hit a creature with this weapon:

  • That creature cannot take the Disengage action against you until the end of its next turn

This reflects enforced proximity rather than mobility denial stacking.

Unbroken Directive

Once per turn when you damage a creature with this weapon:

  • Its speed is reduced by 10 feet until the start of your next turn

This effect does not stack with itself.

Aegis Resonance

Once per long rest:

  • When you hit a creature with this weapon, you may force it to make a Wisdom saving throw (DC = 8 + proficiency bonus + Constitution modifier)

On a failure:

  • It cannot willingly move farther away from you until the end of its next turn

On a success:

  • Its speed is reduced by 10 feet until the end of its next turn

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.

Notes: Requires attunement by Raizen or another war god, Versatile, Sap
