The amulet is silver, with a thin thread making it a necklace when worn. It's circular, with a single ruby inlaid at the center. The entire Diameter is about an inch.
This Amulet when worn touching the skin of a creature, prevents the wearer from falling asleep, naturally or otherwise. Spells have no effect and Long Rests cannot be performed whilst wearing said item. After wearing the amulet consecutively for 8 hours, it's effect lasts for a further 24 hours when taken off regardless of being worn or not.
This amulet also prevents all location spells/scyring from targeting the creature.
After the amulet hasn't been worn after the 24 hour time period, the enchantment returns to it.
The wearer may fall unconscious to combat, but will otherwise never be "asleep" in a traditional sense.
