Ring, legendary (requires attunement by a those who value loyalty, discretion, and getting things done the right way. It may reject those who are loud, reckless, or impatient. The attunement never decays. The attunement can only be removed by the Greater Restoration spell)

A plain gold signet ring with a subtle, solid weight. Once worn by a man who solved problems without raising his voice. This ring does not call attention. It prevents it.

CALCULATED PRESENCE
While wearing this ring, you gain a +1 bonus to Wisdom (Insight) and Charisma (Intimidation) checks. You have advantage on ability checks made to determine if someone is being truthful or withholding information.

DISCREET ARRANGEMENTS
You can cast Pass without Trace once per day without expending a spell slot. Additionally, you have advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks made to move unseen in urban or industrial environments.

CLEAN UP
If you reduce a creature to 0 hit points without attacking it directly (e.g., through a trap, poison, or environmental effect), you can choose to leave no trace of the encounter. For the next 24 hours, no one can find evidence that the creature was ever there.

PROBLEM SOLVER
Wearing this ring: Whenever you roll a 1 on any d20, your character is possessed by Mike Ehrmantraut (the DM controls Mike).

  • Mike has proficiency and advantage on any skill check. His proficiency is +10.
  • Mike acts at initiative count 20 (losing ties).
  • Mike has advantage on attack rolls and his bonus is +15. If Mike rolls a natural 20 on the attack roll, the final damage of the hit is quadrupled.
  • Mike has mastery with any weapon.
  • Mike's AC is 20.
  • Mike is immune to the charmed and frightened conditions.
  • Mike knows any language.
  • Mike has proficiency with any tool.

After Mike resolves an action that involves a d20 roll, he must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 10). On a failed save, you regain control of your character.

“I don’t need to see you.
I just need to know you did it.”

“Loyalty is hard to find.
Trust is easy to lose.”

“We’re done when I say we’re done.”

— Mike Ehrmantraut
