Armor (half plate armor or plate armor), artifact

This gleaming plate armor is forged from gold-etched steel and inlaid with symbols of the rising sun. It radiates warmth and light, a beacon of hope on the darkest battlefields. You have a +2 bonus to AC while wearing this armor.

The armor has 4 charges. It fully recharges all expended charges when you finish a long rest.

  • Radiant Ward. As a reaction when you are hit by an attack, you can expend 1 charge to impose disadvantage on that attack roll. If the attack still hits, you reduce the damage by 2d6 radiant damage.
  • Searing Rebuke. When you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, you can expend 1 charge to deal an extra 1d8 radiant damage to the target. The target must also succeed on a Constitution saving throw (DC 8+ your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier) or be blinded until the end of your next turn.
  • Shield of Faith. As an action, you can expend 2 charges to create a 10-foot emanation of radiant light centered on yourself. Until the start of your next turn, you and friendly creatures in the emanation have resistance to necrotic and radiant damage.

Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.

Notes: Disadvantage: Attack Rolls Against You, Damage: Radiant, Bonus: Armor Class, Str. 15 Required, Stealth Disadvantage
